TravelsIn 1998 a group of Firefighters and I travelled to Vancouver Island to hike the West Coast Trail. It was an amazing trip and if you like hiking you should consider doing it. My next vacation was in the spring of 1999 when Terri and I flew to France. We spent several days in Paris and then took the train south to see other parts of the country. Terri and I returned to France for the openning of the Juno Beach Centre in 2003. This was a trip with the Queen's Own Rifles Association. In 2004, we again flew to Europe. This time it was to see England and Scotland but also included a weekend in Normandy to celebrate the 60th anniversary of D-Day and visit friends.. More...
